Della Harris writes a song in her own unique way, and her debut album gives us ten stories from her life journey, delivered as only Della can.  

 

‘It’s safe to say, that the state of the world changed the way I originally intended to put this album together. Living in the most locked down city in the world, meant that I had to think about things differently.  By the time the album was finished, I had already released 9 of the 10 songs as radio singles.  Writing while in lockdown was easy, recording not so easy, but between each lockdown I’d say “let’s do this, let’s record another song, go hard!” That’s how the album came together and got its name!’ Della says ‘It’s kind of a greatest hits album!’

 

It’s also safe to say that the success of those radio releases has been phenomenal. 

 

‘Let’s Do This’ has already produced nine Top 10 singles, including two #1 hits and Spotify Playlist success, and has won Della multiple awards, including People’s Choice Best Female Artist 2020 and 2021, and Tasmanian Independent Country Music Album of the Year.  

 

Della’s soulful voice is backed by infectious hooks, quirky lyrics and world class production by multi award winners Clive Young and Adrian Hannan, and takes the listener on a musical adventure. Recorded between Nashville and Melbourne, Della is surrounded by some of the best musicians in the world. Her unique way of writing and delivering a lyric taps into an honesty that resonates with her fans capturing snap shots of her own and by reflection, others, lives.
