Della Harris's new album 'Let's Do This' was released to a full house at the 400 seat Capitol Theatre in Tamworth at the 2022 Tamworth Country Music Festival. The album had already spawned a total of nine Top 10 hit singles including the two National #1 hits - 'Must Have Been The Wine' and 'She Said What?' plus won her back-to-back 2020 and 2021 ACMLA Peoples Choice Awards for Female Vocal Of The Year. Now comes the final single release from that album, another co-write with Golden Guitar winner Clive Young, titled - 'Do That Again'. It has all the trademarks of Della's music - memorable hooks, quirky lyrics, engaging vocals and a beautifully crafted tapestry of harmonies.

“I wrote this song during lockdown after months of spending 24/7 in the company of my husband. It could have gone either way let’s be honest! I’m happy to say we didn’t kill each other and actually really enjoyed each other’s company (for the most part anyway!) I was reminiscing one day about relationships, and how they start, and what we see in our partners in the beginning and where that ends up etc. By the time you’ve been married for many years, there’s plenty of battle scars so the song came around that occasional longing to go back to when it was all new and exciting. It’s not a song about hating the stage we’re at now, it’s just a wistful look back at the beginning.” Della

'Truth Juice' is the new single release from multi-award winning artist Della Harris.

'Truth Juice' sets the scene for the launch of Della's forthcoming album at the 2022 Tamworth Country Music Festival - an album that already boasts nine National Top10 radio hits including two #1's - Must Have Been The Wine and She Said What?. 'Truth Juice' has an infectious chorus, quirky lyrics and the classy production that we have come to know and love from Della.
And here is why Della wrote it:
‘Truth Juice’ came about after a particularly funny night out with the girls at a pub in Melbourne. Let’s just say, without exposing the poor fella, that he’d had waaaay too many drinks (‘Truth Juice’) and the stuff coming out his mouth would never have been said if he was sober!!! He ended up making quite a goose of himself, as we all do sometimes when our inhibitions are let loose from too much alcohol! It was pretty hilarious (and a bit flattering I guess haha) and the hilarious chatter about it with my girlfriends and co-writer Clive Young afterwards paved the way for ‘Truth Juice’....:) Della Harris

Hot on the heels of her stunning hit duet with rising star, Andy Penkow, Victorian artist – Della Harris – unleashes her fun new single, “Next Life”.
According to Della, the track is a self-explanatory tale about where she is in her personal life right now.
“My kids are older and my husband and I are all of a sudden finding ourselves with more time on our hands, rather than being knee deep in kids activities”, she says.
“So now here we are, heading into another phase of our life – our ‘Next Life’ so to speak – where we get to have a bit of fun without the kids!”
Della says the idea had been ticking over in her head for quite some time and eventually she came up with the melody and some lyrics. She took it to her producer and co-writer, Clive Young, who loved it immediately and they quickly came up with the catchy chorus to complete the track.
“I know many parents going through a similar phase and just wanted to tell the story for us all. I know it will resonate with many!”

Prompted by sitting in a doctor’s waiting room supporting her elderly mother, this is a poignant song dealing with how as our parent’s age it is our opportunity to turn the tide and be more active in the care for them.

‘It’s a time to start giving back. To honour the people in our lives who raised us and cared for us - as they become older and in need of more support. It’s something that is very important to me and I know by the response I get when I sing this song live, it’s something that is also important to many people and we should be talking about it more. Through years of singing in various cover and tribute bands Della has had an absolute burning desire to perform her own material.
It has been quite an emotional journey finding her own voice after such a long time singing other people's stuff.
" I feel like I have lived a life now that I want to share with people. I know so many people relate to what I'm singing about and I want to share that experience with them. Yes, I've left it late but I'm here to prove that age should not, and will not be a barrier for me. I am still relevant and have so much to share." Della
Her first single, JUST A NUMBER was born out of this feeling and it deals with the perception and prejudice of ageism in an empowering yet whimsical way. It has been a busy twelve months since the release of her debut EP. She has been gigging solidly, including performing at the Glenmaggie Country Music Festival, and supporting Jon Stevens at Bridie O’Reilly’s. Della was also included in the line-up at the Airlie Beach Music Festival, QLD
